I had high hopes for this product. I am a white or mostly white shoe lover, but with that comes shoes getting dirty and having to replace those you love so much. When I came across this product I thought I finally found the shoe cleaner that would bring my white shoes back to life. So I gave it a shot on some white adidas I used at the gym and I was about to throw out… unfortunately it didn’t bring my shoes back to life. I’m sure if my shoes were recently dirty then this would help clean that mess right up. But if the shoes have been sitting for a while with those stains, this won’t bring your shoes back to life. Unless maybe you use almost half a bottle of this product and really scrub your shoes. Perhaps! Below are the shoes I mentioned. As you can clearly see they are way better than before, but definitely not like new again. I will definitely keep the product and use on shoes that have more recent stains. Thank you Shoe Doc!
Thank you for your honest review. It looks like you did a pretty good job with the basic cleaning. The real key to making the fabric material look the best is to rinse the shoes. After you scrub them, rinse them completely by holding them under running water and work out all the dirty soap from inside the material. It is ok to flood the shoe with water. Then put them in the ‘drain and spin’ cycle of the washing machine. The force of the spin works to really pull out all the moisture and dirt. Then set them out to dry completely. This will make a big difference over just wiping them clean or rinsing them a little.
